I'm Kelsey, a UX designer with a distinctive background in choral music direction, teaching, and violin performance. My experience in music has sharpened my ability to listen deeply, think creatively, and approach challenges with precision—skills I bring into every aspect of the design process. Whether organizing a concert or leading a classroom, I’ve learned how to craft experiences that are both structured and emotionally resonant.
My background gives me a unique lens into how people connect, learn, and respond—insights that often inform thoughtful, human-centered digital experiences. I’m passionate about creating designs that are not only functional, but intuitive and engaging.
Years of teaching and directing have given me a strong foundation in understanding people—how they grow, how they communicate, and how they engage. That perspective allows me to design with empathy, clarity, and a focus on long-term impact. As a violinist, I’ve cultivated an eye for detail and a sense of balance, which influence my approach to both visual and interaction design.
Beyond the screen, I’m an Enneagram 9 who enjoys traveling, distance running, and spending time with my labradoodle, Sampson. I have a deep passion for food and cooking, especially when it starts in the garden. I’m also a devoted ice cream enthusiast and marathon runner, bringing curiosity, care, and creativity into everything I do—professionally and personally.
